Expo Seguridad México Supero Expectativas

Es verdad que tenemos muchas exposiciones buenas en los Estados Unidos; el espacio usado cuenta por mucho. Pero Expo Seguridad, que se llevó a cabo en el Centro Banamex, una sala de conferencias gigante, supero las expectativas de los visitantes y expositores.

El tercer día de la exposición fue un éxito. Aunque el horario del Expo fue extraño para mi (la conferencia empezaba a las dos de la tarde y no se acababa hasta las ocho), nunca hubo una escasez de visitantes.

En su octavo año, el Expo crecio 30% en numero de visitantes y 20% en numero de expositores. Mas de 300 expositores invirtieron en el evento y, basado en lo que pude observar, cada stand estaba lleno con visitantes. Si, algunos visitantes sólo vinieron a recoger plumas, pero la mayoría de los visitantes estaban interesados en soluciones de seguridad.

Muchos de los expositores eran de los EE.UU., pero los distribuidores en Ciudad México desempeñaron un papel importante en atrayendo nuevos visitantes al evento. Por ejemplo, Inalarm, unos de los patrocinadores corporativos del evento, es unos de los distribuidores más grandes en Ciduad México. Fueron acompañados por Sermex y Syscom, dos distribuidores grandes en México. DSC, Samsung, Schneider Electric y UTC Fire and Security tambien fueron patrocinadores corporativos.

Fue bueno ver unas cuantas empresas de los Estados Unidos incluyendo Pelco, Anixter, Altronix, Axis, Bolide, Boon Edam, DKS Doorking, CBC America, Bosch, Digiop, Everfocus, FLIR, HID, HAI, Infinova, NVT, PCSC, Panasonic, Rainbow CCTV, Rolland Safe and Lock, STI, Tyco y Winstead Corp.

Muchos fabricantes de seguridad estaban presente incluyendo Axis Communications, March Networks, Cisco Systems, Keri Systems,  Linear, Milestone Systems, Optelecom, Optex y Southwest Microwave.

Pienso que el Expo supero las expectativas de los más de 13 mil visitantes y 300 expositores.
