SDi Presents Multi-Stimulus Detector Tester

September 20, 2007

Testifire -- a multi-stimulus detector tester for smoke, heat and CO detectors was presented during ISC East.

Enabling faster and more efficient testing of single and multi-sensor detectors, Testifire delivers an array of technologies that change traditional methods for stimuli production and delivery. Smoke, heat and CO stimuli are created in a single test unit, and delivered individually or for the first time – simultaneously-- in whatever combination an effective and efficient test requires. Testifire does this without using pressurized cans of gas or hazardous media with stimuli (smoke, heat and/or CO) only generated as required through energizing replaceable capsules.

Testifire can also provide reporting and control intelligence through an optional RFID and Bluetooth module that delivers, with supporting report software, documented traceability as well as auto-configured testing.
