There’s a flurry of excitement around here that comes with the anticipation of ASIS. And some of you being regulars at security tradeshows, this might be your third or fourth trip to Vegas this year. Well we’re gearing up here at Security Products magazine to bring you the latest news and new product announcements straight from the show floor via our ASIS e-newsletter, which you’ll receive each day of ASIS.
This year, we’ll be meeting some newcomers and catching up with our old friends. And we’re attending as many educational sessions and keynotes as our schedules allow, for the life of a security industry editor is non-stop at big shows like ISC West and ASIS.
Please make sure to check out our ASIS e-newsletter daily. I’ll be writing a daily blog straight from the show, which will be formatted a little differently than last year’s. I welcome any input you might have for blog topics during the show. I’m hoping to get more in-depth with my meetings and report any new trends, ideas or products to you, our readers.
You can look forward to seeing news about FLIR, Sony, Quantum Secure and more. I have three days of booked appointments, including some educational sessions that I’d like to catch (Trash Intelligence being one), so don’t be shy to shoot me an e-mail if you have some news or insight that you think ASIS attendees and non-attendees would be interested to know about. You can reach me at ksanchez@1105media.com. See you at the show!
