I'm always amazed at how quickly three days at ISC West goes by. Unable to visit with everyone on my wish list, what I did see were a number of great applications and products ready for use.
In our May issue of Security Products, we will publish a list and product images of SIA's New Product Showcase. Thanks to the folks at SIA, we're able to turn these product listings around and print them right away.
This year's best of show goes to NoblePeak Vision. I had the opportunity to visit with company officials and get the scoop on the product. I believe it was mentioned in our previous tradeshow update, but it's worth mentioning again. The company won with its TriWave camera. Please get your hands on our May issue and see for yourself.
As always, our staff is most thankful for your efforts to help us understand the specifics of your new products, how they work and what application would be best. We're obviously not able to meet everyone, so I wanted to invite you to send us your comments, press releases about new products, images of those products and information you think would help our readers understand more about the security industry.
Well, I'm off to GOVSEC in Washington, D.C. If you're there and want to talk some more, contact me before the show begins so we can arrange a good meeting time. See you at ISC East in New York, Oct. 28-29, and probably at a few shows in between.
